  First release of Strawly Music, a small KDE music player built around playlist files. Your .m3u8 playlists live in your music folder, so a synced folder gives your phone the same playlists without importing them.

  Added

  • List playlists, play, shuffle, shuffle all and repeat
  • Edit playlists: add, remove and reorder songs, saved as .m3u8 files with relative paths
  • All Music view: every song in the music folder, with play and shuffle
  • Now Playing column: the play queue in shuffle order, showing which song plays next
  • Song metadata (title, artist, album, cover art) read from the files' tags, with the cover in the player bar
  • Tabs for open playlists, a sidebar that can be hidden, and the window layout restored on start
  • MPRIS, so the Plasma Media Player widget, the lock screen and the media keys show and control playback
  • Tray icon: close to the tray instead of quitting. Minimize to tray is not possible on Wayland
  • App icon in the window, taskbar and launcher
