  A detailed view with columns, your own playlist order, and Now Playing kept between starts.

  Added

  • A detailed view for All Music and the playlists, chosen in Settings. The summarized view, with each song's cover, title and artist, stays the default. The detailed view is a table, with the cover left of the columns. It shows the order number, title, artist, album, year and length, and right-clicking the column names opens a checkbox for each column the tags can fill: track number, album artist, genre, composer, disc number, comment, grouping, conductor, lyricist, remixer, record label, mood and file name
  • Click a column's name to sort the table by it, a second time to sort the other way, and a third time to go back to the list's own order. Numbers sort by value, and songs without the tag come last. A sorted playlist plays in the order shown, and cannot be reordered until the sort is off
  • Each column starts as wide as its longest value, and the columns never get wider than the middle column. Drag the line between two column names to change a width
  • All Music and each playlist keep their own columns, widths and sort, in columns.conf in the app's config folder. Reset, under the checkboxes, puts one list back to the defaults
  • Drag a column's name to move the column. Each list keeps its own column order
  • Drag a playlist by its handle to put the playlists in an order of your own. Sort A-Z, above the playlists or in their right-click menu, goes back to the order by name
  • Now Playing comes back after a restart: the same songs in the same order, and the same song, paused where it was
  • Two buttons above Now Playing: one removes the songs after the one playing, the other stops and clears Now Playing
  • Play next and Add to Now Playing, in the right-click menu of a song or a playlist. Play next puts the songs right after the one playing, and Add to Now Playing puts them at the end

  Changed

  • The Add songs button above a playlist is gone. The All Music tab, and the add button on each song there, do the same. Remove songs shows only its icon, with the name as a tooltip
  • The Mini player bar is one row: the progress bar moved between the song and the buttons, which makes the bar shorter. Only the progress bar changes width with the window
  • The Settings window opens as tall as its settings, so all of them show without scrolling, up to the height of the screen

  Fixed

  • Songs scrolled past the top of All Music or a playlist no longer show over the tabs
  • With the Normal player bar, playing a song no longer moves a list scrolled to its end. The bar briefly lost the lines for the album and genre while the new song's tags were read, and the lists above it changed height
